Texting and Driving
Texting and driving is an epidemic that is affecting drivers across the Unites States. The big question is, how are we going to stop it? Drivers across the nation are putting themselves and everyone else on the road at risk every time they pick up their phone. Many accidents are caused everyday because of this irresponsibility. In order to reduce the amount of accidents on the road, I propose to get rid of cell phones all together. I mean, who actually needs a cell phone? They are just stupid pieces of technology that have had little effect on our culture, so they will obviously not be missed at all. While we're at it, we might as well get rid of cars too. Think about all the deaths that will be prevented from the nonexistent accidents. Think about all the resources like oil that will be conserved. Think about all of the pollution that will be reduced, creating a healthy environment. Eliminating cars will also encourage walking which will create health benefits and aid the prevention of the small issue of obesity. More importantly, texting and driving is a serious issue that is spreading across the country. The ONLY way to solve this is to get rid of cell phones and cars all together.
