People Problems

I am a firm believer that war is horrid and there is nothing to justify it. Of course the purpose of the war is what I blame the most. People problems are the cause of every little disagreement and petty argument that ends up destroying half of a country. I'm not saying people who prefer to go to war are dumb or anything. I just personally believe that war is something that we should live without.

To me there is never a time for war. People as a whole just don't have the patience to look for the root of the whole problem before they decide to build a bomb and go on a raging attack. Why is it that we have to fight? What gives us the right to kill people? Why is it that we say "don't fight fire with fire" but end up rejecting our own advice? I just don't understand what motivates us to do the things we do.

People may ask, "What about 9/11?" Yes it was downright terrible that we were attacked in such a manner but it didn't make things better in my perspective that we were helping in the process of downsizing the human population. Revenge is not sweet.

So what's my alternative to war? Well how about thinking before acting? What about figuring out where this urge for war is coming from? For example, say that the United States suddenly wants to go to war against some random country. Why? What's the point? If they attacked first, why did they attack? If they're fighting against a United States' ally then what is it about that ally that is provoking them to go to war? There's a reason for everything. So why not try and find what it is? I'm not saying it's the perfect alternative, but killing someone else's son, daughter, husband, wife, father, or mother isn't one either.
