Don't want to, but I will

The topic of war is an intellectual discussion that I am not fit for. A good portion of the world might say that war is okay, and can always be justified, yet there is always opposition in some people who say that war is never okay under any circumstances. I want to say that war is never a good resolution for anything, and that killing people is just wrong. I want to live in a peaceful world and never have to worry about war. But I cant. I can't say that nations shouldn't defend themselves or their people. I can't say that the Holocaust should have   been ignored and World War II shouldn't have happened. I can't say that the horrible incident on September 11, 2001 should be brushed off casually. I guess what I am trying to assert is that countries do have a responsibility to go to war when a threat has appeared and they need to defend themselves-not attack first, but defend themselves. The idea of war does not please me, and it shouldn't for the majority of people. The killing of innocent people and draining the spirit of many is just awful. But, I will say that I do think war can be justified under certain circumstances- I don't want to, but I will.
