Satire - Kono

*** Note: I don't know if this is supposed to be in a specific form like a poem or an article so forgive me.

Americans are facing a crisis concerning obesity. Experts say that by 2030, 42% of the United States population will be obese. We went to the local McDonald's to ask the customers there what they thought of this issue. One woman in line said that she was disgusted with the condition of Americans today and was ashamed that many didn't take the necessary actions to stop obesity from growing. Clearly enraged by the topic, she grabbed her Big Mac meal to-go bag and left. We spoke to another customer, a man with his six-year-old child, and he expressed great concern for the well-fare of the next generation. "I'm trying the best I can to make sure Little Billy here gets the proper nutrition he deserves," he says as he lovingly pats his son on the head. "I don't want to be responsible for causing any illnesses related to obesity." With those final words he excused us to get a refill for his 32-oz. fountain drink.

It's great to see these two McDonald's customers show their concern for our nation. Although they are just two citizens of a large nation, they are a step towards affecting this obesity crisis.
