The Longest Night

This Picture needs no caption nor explaination. We have all seen it hundreds of times and the story is drilled into our minds.
This (well first off it would be a very difficult picture to take that´s why it is a painting) is the illustration of George Washington transporting his troops across the freezing cold Delaware River in a crazy gamble to attempt to save the lives of his men as well as his country. This event itself was very extremely pivotal in the success of Washington´s troops. From this event, we have seen our country foulrish and prosper separate from the British and without the events unfolding in perfect sequence as it happened that night, we would not be standing where we are today.
