technology bites back

Has technology ever inconvenienced you or hurt you? Maybe technology got in your way, slowed you down or even literally hurt you? Have you seen technology have a negative impact on society?

Today, humans revolve around the new production of technological tools, wether it be from the new iPhone, to the brand new ferari, our lives would not be the same without these innovations. But not all of these inventions have helped the society or myself. Advancements in technology have not hurt me directly, but has affected those close to me, which in turn affects me. For example: my dad was a young buck who worked in the air force, which means being in physicaql shape mas mandated. But as he got promoted, he became a man behind a desk with a monitor in his face. This also meant that he didnt have to be in shape to do his job. As years went on he steadily packed on the weight. This has affected my entire family as we bicker of health concerns and worries for him, but a new page in his life has turned and he is starting to excersize again. The point is, because of new technology he had his eyes glued to the monitor and his hands to the keyboard, which took away his time to excersize. Another way technology has hurt me are through automobiles. These inventions are death machines, and luckily for me, no one close to my has died in an accident (knock on wood), but my brother has had his fair share of car accidents. Which has not caused great pain, but soreness in certain areas. Not only did this physically hurt me, but it also slowed me down because I was late to my baseball game. Finally I would say that technology has most definately had a negative impact on society. Yes I do greatly appreciate my phone, car, computer, AC and many other inventions, but they have hurt our world but making us soooooo lazy. All we do nowadays is sit on our butts and watch tv. Our world has grown so dependant on these machines that it is hurting our health and in turn creates a negative impact on our society.
