Whalen, Michael D

Hi im Michael Whalen and I'm 16, born and raised in Lexington. I have 3 older brothers 2 of which have attended and graduated from Henry Clay, and a younger sister who is a freshmen. There is also a kid who is a sophomore who looks like me. He is not my brother. He is my cousin. I run cross country, wrestle, and run track for Henry Clay.

Academically, my goals this year are to meet or go beyond the requirements of the colleges i would like to attend through my gpa and test scores, as well as the requirements of my parents in order not to attend their lectures. As you can probably tell I'm not that open about my specific personal aspirations to new people and try not to stick out too much during school, but am pretty outgoing and open among my friends and teams.

Although this summer i took a couple trips to the lake where i love to ski and swim they were not the highlights of my summer. The highlight of my summer was probably a trip i took to the U.K.. sports medicine clinic where Dr. Mair cleared me to wrestle again after i tore my rotator cuff  last february and had it operated on in March.

What geeks me out is wrestling, that is why being cleared to wrestle again was the highlight of my summer. I would have to say wrestling is one of the most criticized sports. We do not wear "tights" nor leatards, they are called singlets, and wrestling is not a sport of the homosexual nature and not an excuse for boys to touch each other, and most of us aren't bigg dumm joks. Now that we have that out of the way yeah i like to wrestle, it's pretty fun. I'd like to say ive become half decent at the sport. I hope to be in the wwe some day... no just kidding that is an insult to the sport.

ok lets see superpowers, if i could have one power it would be the power to time travel if that is a power in the list of powers. I could go back and change things so wars and other bad things wouldn't happen and go into the future to find knwledge to help people now. But then again i might mess up the space time continuum, and i would not want to do that so my second choice for a superpower would be to have immunity from the law in order to do good without the law getting in the way.

This isn't what i do, but i look to this courageous man for inspiration

Honestly I do not have a favorite website, i'm not much for favorites, but my most visited aside from social networking sites would be
http://www.henryclay.fcps.net/ wouldn't be able to do homework without it.
