Happy Medium

Like most of my fellow classmates, I also believe in the grey happy medium between good and evil.  This doesn't mean that there isn't a war between good and evil; in fact, I believe that this war occurs everyday in almost everyone's lives. From deciding whether or not to take that one little peak at your neighbor's test, or jumping in the middle of line to stand with your friends when you should go to the end, there are little things everyday that create this theoretical war in us. Does this mean that if you do decide to stand with your friends that you are automatically evil? No. This is where the grey comes into play. There is no correct definition of good or evil because so many people have different opinions about it, so to make it simple I just place almost everyone in this lovely little grey area. I think this grey area is so big because I don't think good or evil could exist without each other. If there was all good in the world, we wouldn't know what evil was or vice versa. Lets say that theoretically there was a big war with good versus evil, and good ends up conquering it all (which seems to happen in the fictional stories), there are still those "evils" that have been conquered and that are still going to oppose the "goods". This is why there's no way one or the other could completely eliminate the other because they both have to exist in order to be defined.
