In all seriousness

I don't really like to listen to other people's advice because I, more often than not, like to make up my own advice, consider it superior, and call it a day. However, the most memorable piece of advice I have heard from someone (but I'd rather credit myself) is to not take everything so seriously. It's pretty simple, but also pretty effective. I often forget that the things I build up in my head are actually not that big of a deal in real life. One wrong word won't change someone's opinion of me, one wrong answer won't determine a failed future, and one huge mustard stain on my shirt won't be remember by tomorrow. If I keep worrying about those little insignificant things, I'll be wasting precious time that could have been used for something productive. It's alright if I fall down, it's alright if someone else falls down. I just have to smile, pick myself up, and move on. Life is so much easier when you don't take everyone so seriously.
