advice

The best advice that I have been given includes two things: that when the going gets tough, the tough gets going, and to keep calm and be happy.
1. The first one is important because there are so many times where I think that I just have to give up, whether it is through a hard time or a hard workout. If you just gave up whenever something got hard, you would never get stronger or accomplish anything. In this age, people have a problem with this, like if one thing goes wrong in a marriage, they make ways around it and avoid fixing the problem by just getting a divorce. Sometimes I have thoughts like "I can't do this; I'm going to die; I can't do this anymore," but you just have to stick out the pain in order to succeed in the future. When I have given up before, the sense of ongoing guilt and regret is far worse than a few minutes of pain.
2. We are always busy and going and not taking a moment of breath. Sometimes I have to remind myself to just take a deep breath and be happy, which I consider one of the main points of life. Do stuff that will better other people and yourself, but you have to be happy while doing so. I'll try to avoid going onto a rant to one of my biggest pet peevs, but if something if giving you no joy or happiness, you should probably consider why you are spending your time doing so. If you aren't happy, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND STOP COMPLAINING. :)
