My level of expertise on this subject should never be disputed. I am the greatest knot tie-er ever – just ask Leo. Here’s how one can begin the arduous journey towards achieving the level of knot tying skill that I have painstakingly come to.
1. Acquiring a good rope is best done first. You can find a wide variety of rope of varying lengths and colors at your local outdoors store. If you don’t really want to invest into a solid life-long knot-tying rope, any old cord will do.
2. Download the app from the app store called “What Knot To Do In The Great Outdoors”. This app provides thorough instructions on how to tie cool AND useful knots. (It also provides comical puns for your personal enjoyment!)
3. Continue practicing the knots, making sure to that you are following each step exactly.
4. Once you have memorized and mastered your “basic” knots, you are now ready to move onto more difficult knots. These can prove to be a challenge, but if you continue pursuing this skill, you will achieve your lofty goal.
5. For more challenging knots and knots that can be used for not only outdoor explorations but also sailing, fishing, and general household knots, just go to http://www.animatedknots.com/.
...really?
