There was no doubt in my mind as to what inanimate object to choose; however, there are far too many adventures and moments to pick from. I should start off with a little background on my object. I picked my pink bunny. His name, yes he is a boy even though he is pink, is Bunny. I have had Bunny for as long as I can remember and for almost as long as I have been alive. Unfortunately, Bunny is not as plush as he once was. I took him everywhere, and I mean everywhere. I was not the child that clung to their pacifier, but I was the one that clung to my bunny. My mom had to slowly get me to leave him at home because if anything where to happen to him there would be hell to pay. Few things have changed in his life, but he did lose some stuffing when I would pull him through my crib bars, he is a lot skinner now.
Bunny has traveled to many different places, for many different reasons. He is a frequent dance competition goer, but he generally doesn't leave the room because he is scared of being separated from the group as he is a little vertically challenged. He enjoys the car rides particularly because he enjoys looking at the cars, trees, and clouds, but also because sitting on a bed all day gets old. He doesn't much care for hotel pillows for they aren't soft enough and your head doesn't allows sink straight into them. Where he lost weight he doesn't have as much insulation, so he tends to migrate to the end of the bed when the four or five am alarm goes off because he likes to stay warm and get more than a couple hours of sleep (he is a little bit of a diva). He is not always the most patient and would like to know the awards before they have even been tabulated but he is always extremely proud even when the outcome isn't great.
Other than traveling from state to state and even to and from school, yes he has come to school, Bunny enjoys being a shoulder to cry on or a friend to hug. At times he finds it difficult to understand everything that is going on, but he doesn't care if he knows. Listening is his best quality. After a not so great day at school, a failed test, a bad rehearsal, or even just not feeling so hot, Bunny always finds a way to help out. He enjoys being able to soak up tears or still be robust enough for a good hug. At the end of the day, these moments are few and far between and he knows everything will work out, he makes sure to sleep super close to me and enjoys the nice comfortable bed as opposed to Franklin the Frog (his pillow pet cohort).
