Dearest Ben, I tried...

I sit next to Mary Austin. Luckily, Jessie keeps her occupied because by 6th hour, I am not very good at handling people who talk. Any attempt to paint a picture of her would need a lot of glitter - but she prefers "sparkles" (same thing if you ask me).

Now Ben M. Evers though! The M stands for mystery, or so he told me... Ben is so chill. Unless there's a test, and then not so much. Ben is awesome at school - makes me feel like a slacker. Ben's backpack is ginormous and if it were alive, it would probably eat me as a midafternoon snack. Ben is Caesar. Ben is psychic since he seems to know when I'm going to turn into a fire raging monster if someone says so much as one word to me and when I want to talk all class. Ben is very nice to me. I take up entirely too much space at our table & incessantly roll around in my chair causing my feet to hit Ben's legs. The fact Ben puts up with all this shows he's patient. And an awesome seat partner.

When I see Ben, I like to say hi super loud so he has to reply. Ben & Ben have a steamy love affair across the classroom. They make weird faces at each other which causing me to laugh at inappropriate times during class. They say I'm jealous. I say I don't like thinking Swanson is staring at me creepily during English when in reality he's all eyes for Ben.

Ben is everything - couldn't even pick the right color. My favorite Ben line is "There's a vocab quiz today?! Damnit... Do you have your list?" Ben says incredibly funny things on accident which makes it even more wonderful humorous. Ben has finally started to sit next to me in the library during lunch instead of whatever he did before. He and Ben then continue their love affair across the table...

Ben could be a goddamn superhero if he wanted to. Ben could be something that doesn't even exist yet! In five years, Ben will probably have sent me to the spiral galaxy, or maybe into a black hole, and put New York City on the moon. Maybe Ben will have saved the rainforest by creating a biosystem underwater or underground. Ben's just that cool. Ben's so cool that he probably has the best chance of anyone I've ever met to help the Doctor save all of Earth.
