Splish Splash

I listen to music all time, but I don't have specific playlists for anything. I usually just put my iphone, ipod, laptop or whatever device I am using on shuffle. This is probably why I like Pandora so much because I never know what is going to come on next, and even on Pandora I like to shuffle the stations. But, in order to complete this assignment, I will give you a playlist for the shower. Taking a shower is probably my favorite part of every day. It's a mindless and relaxing activity that is so enjoyable that I dread getting out. Listening to music while in the shower is just a cherry on top to this fabulous activity. To complete this sundae, I actually do have a playlist for a shower, but it's so long that you might not consider it a true playlist. However, here are some of my favorite songs that belong in my shower playlist that would make up a solid playlist by itself:
1) Kiss Me- Ed Sheeran. I love this song. I could listen to it all day long, but in the shower it just helps set the relaxing mood. The slow beat and different instruments all comes together to create this wonderful song.
2) We Don't Eat- James Vincent McMorrow. This is another slow going song that sets a relaxing mood. I love the lyrics and McMorrow's voice is just heavenly. The song starts with few instruments and then gradually adds more in to create a master piece. Great for the shower.
3) Blindsided- Bon Iver. I don't know if you can detect a pattern, but all of these songs are very similar in melody and rhythm. This song puts me in a great mood because it make me focus on the song and nothing else when I am listening to it.
4) Born and Raised-John Mayer. I will just start by saying that I am a huge fan of John Mayer, and his most recent album, which is the namesake of this song, is so goooooood. I listen to this song all the time because once again!! it is relaxing, and it calms me, so it helps in the shower.
5)Slow it Down-The Lumineers. The simplicity of this song it what makes it so good. Few instruments are used, and the main singer's voice is amazing. It's a settling song, so that's why it is such a good song for the shower.
Please keep in mind that these five songs need to be set on shuffle because each different way you can listen to it, you will get the same effect. Enjoy!
