Reflecting is no fun for me. Junior year was tough.
I had to have another showdown with my ego and realize that I'm not the genius my dad thinks I am.
I had to discover what really mattered to me.
I had to let go of toxic people.
I had to face a lot of silly fears, like turning left in my car without an actual green arrow.
I had to drink a lot of rice milk before I decided I'm just an almond milk type of girl.
I had to throw away all of my potted plants because I forgot to water them.
I still have to work on getting serious at the appropriate times, but that's something to worry about later. I grew a lot as a person this year and I'm glad I went through that intrinsic battle now instead of later.
I also laughed a lot, which was nice. I'm excited to mentor under a woman that is interested in the things that I am interested in. I'm excited to do handstands down the streets and to teach Lusi about yoga. I'm excited for the classes I'm taking next year, I'm excited to see where my life will be taking me. I'm excited that I'm excited.
