I don't really like bucket lists. I like the freedom that comes with knowing you can do anything you want whenever you want. Bucket lists are too confining, Mr. Logsdon, but I'll do this anyway. Maybe it will inspire me to enjoy bucket lists again.
Before I finish high school, I want to be sure that I stepped out of my comfort zone in a completely different way. I'm not talking about raising my hand and playing the Russian Roulette guessing game in US History, but rather something that actually challenges my mind. Things like completing a 5k in under 25 minutes, hiking in a national park with my brother, or being front row at a M.I.A concert and actually enjoying it. I would like to have one great memory to associate with high school that brought me out of my comfort zone and contributed positively to my wellbeing.
Before I finish college, I want to travel to another country. This isn't a hard goal to attain with all of the fabulous study abroad programs out there, but I would like to experience the true culture of a country, no tourist traps or commercial hotels.
Before I finish living, I would like to be acknowledged in a book. That would be plain awesome. Or perhaps I'd want to get my 200 hour yoga teacher certification. Or even ice fishing. This is a tough one.
